Well at first, that's what I thought I'd be doing....walking FOR the animals. But fortunately, I didn't have to do that.They did just fine on their own.

Especially when they were sniffing others just like them.Dudley, myself and some 600 other people with pooches did a 10K walk benefitting the Seattle-King County Humane Society.
It was a huge success. Even in the rain, we managed to raise 50-thousand dollars to benefit programs for homeless animals. It makes you feel pretty good, doesn't it?
My good friend Helena Cohen joined us for the soggy stroll and kept us smiling. 
And other fabulous folk like ace reporter Travis Mayfield and Super Sweet Sadie joined us for the walk.What a great event!!!! We're a little wet but otherwise happy and tired.
